From the reviews
Always so much fun! Many options for many levels of abilities, clean and safe environment, climbing walls, and equipment. I will say though, most of the staff isn't overly friendly or welcoming... But helpful when needed. Also, bathrooms were a bit in need of a deep clean.
We came to Eldorado Hills from distant Croatia for the holidays. Our young daughter(13y) is involved in sport climbing, so we come to climbing several times. the hall, as well as the whole team, immediately warms to you.
I had a great time with friends at Granite Arch. The customer service was great and filling out the waiver info was easy and convenient. A member of the staff named Davis helped us out. We quickly got our gear and climbed. Plenty of climbing stations so you're not waiting around.
This place is a great if you have some experience climbing. It's ok if you have no experience climbing. The walls for unexperienced climbing are limited and are harder than expected. They also have a free standing climing wallet the easy areas are also limited. However overall my family and I had a really great time.
Birthday parties at Granite Arch Climbing Center
Granite Arch Climbing Center hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
