Yoga & fitness

Gym featuring rope-climbing walls, boulder routes and rentals; staff is noted for helpfulness.

Plan your visit

  • Day pass around $8 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
  • Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
  • Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
  • Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
  • First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
  • Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
  • Ages 0–18 — the gym's own stated range
  • Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

This is my favorite climbing gym! The staff are eager to teach new climbers about the belay clip n go’s. There are no auto belay systems but it is a great place to learn to belay and boulder. There is a Moon Board and other bouldering opportunities along with top rope and lead options.

We LOVE Turners. The crew here is absolutely delightful and always happy to chat or help. There's some top roping and building available, easy and challenging routes for each. There are no auto-belays so definitely bring a belay partner. The routes turn over every few weeks so the variety is pretty good.

A great little climbing gym. I highly recommend trying it out, especially if you want to work on your crimps. It may be small, but with that comes a little community where most regulars know each other.
