What a neat venue. Its filled with character and much bigger than it looks. I went with my girlfriend to see a poet and it was the perfect setting. The drinks were over priced as are most venues but they did have a nice selection of coctails and beer.
Turner Hall is my absolute favorite venue for music. Small and intimate, but sound system quality and venues condition is so premium. Clean and appealing bathrooms you don't feel like your in some cheap bar.
This is my favorite climbing gym! If you want to learn a little bit more about climbing, this is your place. There are no auto belay systems, so the staff teach you how to belay with an assistive device. This gym has a great community feel and really focuses on teaching.
I like Turner Hall because you can stand and dance close to the stage. The floors are hard wood so the music vibrates into your feet. It's like stepping back in time because they have only remodeled the bathrooms and the doors are huge. In the words of the lead singer of Los Lobos " You're got a great place here.
