From the reviews
climbing has finally made it to binghamton! we aren’t far from the gunks but a few hours a week at a magnanimous garage owner’s garage isn’t enough to remain conditioned for big walls anyway! staff are super friendly, setting is quality, grading is fair for inside climbing AND THERES A $@?!
Absolutely love this place! A great climbing gym experience. Knowledgeable and friendly staff with good taste in gym wide music. The gym's community is incredible! Always willing to help you or cheer you on.
So glad to finally have a climbing gym in the Binghamton area. Very reasonable pricing, a great variety of routes, and a welcoming environment. The Pad has a good selection of bouldering, top rope, and lead routes, and has something for climbers of all experience levels.
An awesome place! We went for a small bday celebration. Not that expensive for what it is. The place is very clean, the employees are pleasant and helpful and everyone that was there is very respectful of others climbing space. It was difficult to get a hold of anyone when calling to find out some info.
Birthday parties at The Pad Climbing Binghamton
The Pad Climbing Binghamton hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at The Pad Climbing Binghamton
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at The Pad Climbing Binghamton — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
