Kid-friendly spot for bouldering on walls, plus a workout space and yoga classes.
Plan your visit
- Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews
Updating my review after one year: Cayuga Climbs continues to be a great climbing gym. Since they've opened, the major changes have included adding a Tension Board and an upstairs weightlifting and stretching area.
Update: added a fifth star because of how hard the folks are working to keep the walls fresh, but even more because of their ongoing efforts to make a fun and welcoming space for all sorts’a folk to boulder. A nice, basic bouldering gym. They’ve thoughtfully and sustainably added on over the years.
This is a great little gym to check out if you’re in the area! There’s a good variety of wall angles and holds. I found the grading to be fairly on par with larger commercial gyms I’ve visited and enjoyed the setting styles.
Really baffled by the person saying it was child focussed. Did they feel the multiple V8 and V9 problems are targeted to children? Cayuga climbs is a small bouldering gym that is great for people who want to climb of all ages.
