Climbing facility featuring boulder walls, lead walls and top rope areas.
Plan your visit
- Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

“The bouldering is on a whole nother level, and the routes are reset often enough that there is always something new to work on.”
“The top rope/ lead climbing area is a little small but the climbs are always really thought out and are usually as fun the tenth time you climb them as the first.”

From the reviews
Love this place! Great facility, great staff, and great location! Happy to be a member!! Thank you to the entire Front team for working so hard to find alternatives to keep this gym open through this pandemic and help your members feel safe.
As someone who doesn't do rock climbing professionally, or even a little, I find this place a good place to come for a casual trip and a fun experience! I came here and the staff show you how to do things, and they help you by giving tips on what to do and what not to do.
We love The Front locations. The staff at all locations are always super nice. The parking is always interesting but that is okay, my legs are not broken.
I am on team at the Ogden location and I have never had a had a bad experience the front desk staff is really friendly and nice. The coaches will give us hard and productive workouts and are really fun to talk to. The route setters are also very nice and always give beta.
