What climbers say again and again
“Huge shoutout to the coach who worked with me and my girlfriend since we were both first timers on this sort of wave.”
From the reviews
My instructor was awesome and kept challenging me and my nephew. An hour seemed like more than enough time for the both of us to get in as many rides as we wanted as first timers. Word of caution. The deck at the top is HARD. And the water just chucks you on to it.
We had an absolute blast at Florider while visiting Utah. We were staying all the way out in Draper and it was still 100% worth the drive. Honestly probably our favorite thing we did in the whole Salt Lake City area.
We rented half of the slide for one hour for my sons' birthday. It was just my family doing it on that half of the slide. My sons had a wonderful time! Their instructor was terrific and she showed them a lot of fun tricks they could do once they got the hang of body boarding.
Definitely a favorite place. Always guaranteed to be fun. We took a large group for a teenage party and the instructor was FABULOUS. Super patient and fun and they were all surfing by the end. One hour goes by so fast. This time we did two hours for 11 kids and I am so glad we did.
Birthday parties at Flowrider Utah
Flowrider Utah hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
