Huge rock-climbing gym featuring roped routes, auto belays, bouldering and ping-pong table.
Plan your visit
- Day pass around $28 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

“There are two areas to top rope on the first floor, as well as a lot of gym equipment and climbing specific training.”
“They have an auto-belay section for people that don't have a belay partner and would like to climb ropes.”
“Honestly half of the reason I got my membership was to attend Caroline’s yoga class, she is AMAZING!”

What climbers say again and again
“They do the little things right, like having all routes properly marked, carabiners unlock the same way, new routes are set every weekday, and everything is always very clean.”

From the reviews
Honestly half of the reason I got my membership was to attend Caroline’s yoga class, she is AMAZING! love the climbing and the people are always friendly. Only knocking down one star because they need more - and experienced - route setters. Complex routes tend to be inaccessible for short climbers.
This is a great climbing gym in the city. Finding parking can feel very taxing however once you do, you will be all set for some great fun. It’s a clean gym with many challenges available. The walls do become very packed with people, you will find yourself waiting on the next route from time to time.
The Cliffs was really cool. I normally climb at Movements went to Philly to try a different gym. They have autobelay which is cool and was a first for me. The bouldering uses V scale and the difficulty felt about the same as the gyms I normally climb.
This place was awesome! The staff was really sweet and charming, climbing was good, and despite the fact there were a lot of people there, I didn't feel like I couldn't get on anything or there were significant slowdowns. Really good climbing gym culture.
