Plan your visit
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

What's inside
“It’s particularly great for top rope / lead— the bouldering area is similar in size to Callowhill, but it’s always nice to have new problems to try.”

“A truly massive rock climbing gym with plenty of top rope, lead climbing, and bouldering options.”
“feels sterile and no sauna and routes are too sparse but yoga on friday nights is wonderful and gym area is solid”
“Facilities: Overall, it is a very nice facility with a lot of ropes, a large training area, both Kilter and TB2 Spray, showers, lockers, and many additional amenities.”
What climbers say again and again
“Not only is it a great climbing gym (big, clean, nice facilities, great routes), but we did our daughters 6th birthday party there and it was a great experience.”

From the reviews
Facilities: Overall, it is a very nice facility with a lot of ropes, a large training area, both Kilter and TB2 Spray, showers, lockers, and many additional amenities. The bouldering area features a variety of wall angles including a cave and some slab, but it is a bit small relative to the size of the gym.
First time in the US and at such a big climbing gym. I would repeat it. I think it has: 1) routes to have fun even if you don't have much experience, and; 2) definitely friendly and close staff. Thanks, Grant, for introducing me to the world of bouldering and answering all my beginner questions!
Amazing spacious facility. Twice as many rope routes as any other nearby option. Excellent route setting.
Took my niece to the American St. location today for the first time (she’s been many times to the Callowhill location). Both facilities are great, but the staff at this location—especially Hudson—were absolutely phenomenal.
