This is the original Hangar 18 climbing gym. It's really in an old hangar! Good bouldering problems, great top rope and lead climbing routes, and down to earth cool crowd and staff. I think the routes here are probably some of the more difficult ones among several of the climbing gyms in Southern California.
First time there, my daughter and I had a great experience a lot of fun for the family. Also, you get a great workout. And if you’re looking to burn your energy out for your little kids, say fun and build confidence for the young one.
I think this is like only my 3rd review ever. First time ever coming to a hangar 18 so figured we would just walk in. When we got there a nice young lady greeted us. She let us know that all classes and reservations were full. Most people would have stopped there and we would have left without ever trying it.
Went on a school field trip with the international students. It was a great time, the climbing trials were challenging but fun. The staff was really nice and patient, our group was given the upstairs seating area to eat our lunches. I would recommend if you have been looking to do indoor rock climbing.
