Plan your visit

  • Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
  • Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
  • Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
  • First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
  • Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
  • Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
  • Café on site somewhere to grab a coffee and hang out between climbs
  • Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews

I love so much about Dyno. I've made lifelong friends, rediscovered my love of climbing, gotten in great shape, and found my home away from home here. The routes are reset on a fairly regular basis, with a great mix of styles. The employees are friendly and clearly passionate about climbing.

Just came from this rock climbing gym with my boyfriend! This gym is the best rock climbing gym in the area. So many climbs that are versatile for people who are anywhere from beginner (like me) to pro! Everyone is so nice, and the gym is very clean.

This is a large climbing gym with a huge bouldering area with routes of all types and quite a few top rope options as well. The staff are friendly and helpful and got us on the walls pretty quickly after an orientation. We are experienced climbers and the ratings are definitely on the harder side here.
