- Day pass around $22 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test

From the reviews
Awesome new climbing gym. It has bouldering, lead climbing, top rope, and 4 auto belays. You can purchase a day pass for about $20 with gear or get a monthly membership for about $50 per month. Great fun for the whole family!
Favorite place to take the kids and the adults! More challenging than you think! All day passes, excellent staff, and courses are constantly changing keeping you motivated. Kids love it, builds motor skills, spacial awareness, and strength. Highly recommend!
I love this climbing gym! The staff are knowledgeable, super helpful, and friendly. The boulder problems and routes are always fun and challenging, helping one push to that next level. My climbing skills have improved a ton since coming here. This gym is great for all skill levels and ages.
Great time for the whole family. Fantastic place to learn. Walls are set up for range of experience from beginners to advanced. Great place to stay in shape during off season too. Owners have expanded climbing walls and are still making improvements, adding full height sections to the climbing walls.
Birthday parties at Vertical Horizons Climbing Gym
Vertical Horizons Climbing Gym hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at Vertical Horizons Climbing Gym
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Vertical Horizons Climbing Gym — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
