- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes

From the reviews
Today, at the age of 40, I had my first ever climbing experience AND I'M HOOKED. If you've never tried this before, the best way to describe it is, take the physical challenge, combined with the mental challenge, combined with strategic puzzle solving while confronting fear in the face.
•Loveable staff and friendly community. •Creative and challenging wall puzzles that push you towards your best. • Affordable membership at $65 a month including free classes from Yoga, Climbing, Crossfit, and a upstairs workout area. •Clean facility aside from chalk, but hey that's climbing.
As a family we all started to get into climbing a few years years ago. Just a random trip to Vertex every few months. Covid hit, I had all our gear in a climbing bag that was stolen, etc and we just stopped. About 8 months ago we got back into it... More regularly.
Started climbing at Vertex (and in general) in November of 2022! I became OBSESSED IMMEDIATELY, not only with climbing but with Vertex in general! Climbing has absolutely changed my life, physically, mentally and in all ways! Vertex offered a sense of community that I missed dearly, not being from the area.
