4.7 ★★★★★ 61 Google reviews · Climbing gym in Napa, California
Climbing facility with walls, ropes and bouldering, plus courses for kids and adults (and a few self-belay spots).
Plan your visit
- Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews
One of the best gyms in the bay area....Routes are true to grade compared to many of the gyms in SF. (some of the touchstone gyms are a joke) There's also dramatically more variety of climbs...including chimneys, bouldering caves, and roof lead climbs. There are also a few self belays for those who don't have partners.
Loved this place. Perfect for kids. Unlike most climbing places I've taken the kids to, it took less than 5 minutes from the time we arrived to the time my kids were on the wall. If you're visiting Napa with your kids and need to do something for them, this is the place.
Stopped there on a Saturday to to some bouldering. Owner is super nice and did a good job setting up the place, which has been there for the past 9 years apparently. Bouldering section had a good mix of slabs, vertical, and even a good roof section that was super challenging.
Probably one of the best rock climbing gyms I've been 2 and 7 years of climbing. Me and my girlfriend went here on New Year's Day and had a blast! The owner even gave us free Waters! And a discount on my girlfriend's first time!
Birthday parties at Rockzilla
Rockzilla hosts birthday parties, going by their listing and visitor reviews. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
