Plan your visit
- Day pass around $15 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Auto-belays mentioned here — clip in and climb ropes solo, no partner needed
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Ages 0–18 — the gym's own stated range

What's inside
“Update 08/02/2025: Docking a star for the women's locker room and the rough climate control in the bouldering room (read: only fans that don't always run).”
“The bouldering room also gets really hot and humid which sucks because the top rope walls have really good climate control and airflow!”
“Great climbing gym- staff is friendly, they have bouldering, top rope, auto belays, and space for lead climbing.”
“They have a nice bouldering area, a variety of auto-belay climbs and lots of variety of heights and difficulties for climbing.”
“Friendly staff and a cool gym, they also have a sauna and SPA which is amazing If you’re looking to climb in RVA, this is the spot!”

From the reviews
This is easily my favorite climbing gym in Richmond. The relaxed vibe and great music puts you in the perfect mood for bouldering or top-rope climbing. There is also a lot of space to take breaks and sit and snack, from the couches in the lobby area to the tables and chairs downstairs.
I'll preface this by saying I'm not a climber, I just take my 7 year old son. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a nice bouldering area, a variety of auto-belay climbs and lots of variety of heights and difficulties for climbing. We have a good time every time there.
We are attending a free Rock climbing class for our kids. This place is pretty amazing. First, it appears to be very clean and well kept. They also seem to have quite of few different things you can do here. Rock climbing, Bouldering, Yoga, Fitness, Weightlifting, Spa area and Lounge.
Visiting family over the holidays and we were looking to hit a rock gyms. We noticed this new gym and decided to give it a try. It’s very clean has three main rooms:boulder room, shorter routes, and then one room with very tall routes. Check in was a breeze with very reasonable prices.
