From the reviews
Extremely disappointed that there were no Yerba Mate's for sale and only Celsius energy drinks. But the route setting was great, and the staff was very friendly.
Great Center, lots of walls to climb, and all the People are friendly. I have been coming for about four years and have had an amazing experience everytime I come in. The staff are really knowledgeable and willing to help you figure out difficult routes and problems.
This is a great place to go rock climbing and bring friends. I've been going for about 4-5 years now, and I absolutely love climbing here! There are tons unique routes, both challenging and rewarding. They have a 45% wall, auto belays, top rope, and bouldering.
This is the friendly down-home Knoxville gym. Extremely supportive community of members! I started coming here a few years ago as a complete and utter beginner who could barely complete a V0.
Birthday parties at The Climbing Center
The Climbing Center hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at The Climbing Center
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at The Climbing Center — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
