Rock climbing gym offering fitness classes, yoga, and events, as well as kids' birthday parties.
Plan your visit
- Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

“It's not huge but it does have a few auto belays, top ropes and a dedicated lead wall where as the previous one did not.”

From the reviews
Great day watching my wife and nephews climb. Great welcome from the staff upon entering, detailed explanation on how things work, and offered a variety of climbing options for differing experience levels. We'll be back.
The new Steep World facility is amazing! 40 foot roped walls, a bouldering wall, and an upstairs area for beginners and training. There's a yoga studio and a fitness area. A wide open area in the middle means you can be running on the treadmill while watching your kids boulder.
I was visiting so I got a day pass - it cost me $23 for a day pass, shoes rental and a chalk bag. Value for money is 👌. I only bouldered and they had 2 sections - one in the ground floor and another at the 2nd floor. The first floor section was enough for me but wouldn't mind them adding a section in the future.
Steepworld is amazing. I was visiting my parents and needed a summer camp for my son for 2 weeks while we were there. He had so much fun, he got his energy out and they really understand kids and are so patient and encouraging. I can't recommend this place enough.
Birthday parties at Steepworld Climbing & Fitness
Steepworld Climbing & Fitness hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at Steepworld Climbing & Fitness
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Steepworld Climbing & Fitness — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
