I’m a casual climber and have been to Sportrock a handful of times now. Got belay certified on my first visit and enjoy the very tall top roping routes. The staff have been helpful and friendly every time.
If you're into rock climbing or want to learn, Sportrock is one of the most affordable options in the D.C. area. They have three locations, but this one is closest to Washington, D.C. My wife, seven-year-old daughter, her friend, and I went for open gym at 2:45pm on a Sunday. Here's our experience.
Went to Sportrock for the first time this Saturday and had a blast! Our first impression was meeting Rey who was super helpful. She greeted us with a lot of enthusiasm and showed up around the gym, and told us all about the different class options and gave us her card.
