4.7 ★★★★★ 488 Google reviews · Climbing gym in Boston, Massachusetts
Casual climbing gym for kids and grown-ups featuring bouldering areas, top-roping routes, auto belays and slacklining.
Plan your visit
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Ages families visit with kids 6–9, going by reviews
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews
Blitzed in here before conference. So nice to have a local welcoming gym with auto belay. Diverse routes, friendly staff, felt like home. I was impressed by diverse equipment opportunities including treadwall and competition routes. If a local would be a member. Check them out.
Very well equipped gym even though it's a bit older. It has everything you need to have fun climbing and for training. It has a great varieties of features and climbs. Very nice staff. It has lot of hangboards, weights, bands, a spray wall, a treadwall, and some short TRs.
What an amazing experience! This climbing gym leaves nothing to be desired. They have it all bouldering, auto belay, gym equipment and grip boards spaced out. If it is your first time you also get briefing to help with how the auto belays work and what levels to try if you are a beginner.
Great rock climbing spot! The only reason they don't get all five stars on my review is that their crash pads could be improved. They do not feel as safe as they could. The level system in the gym is also interesting as they provide a peer contributed scale of grades for each route.
