Planet Rock is the new hotness for climbing in Grand Rapids. With a floor to ceiling height of 50' on the top rope/Lead side no other gym in the Grand Rapids area comes close height wise, which really does make it feel more like I am climbing outside.
We’ve been waiting forever for an amazing top rope climbing gym to come to GR. Specifically one that allows young climbers so that our 5 year old could climb with us as she’s fully exhausted the make-shift 8 foot wall we installed in our basement to feed her climbing passion.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) Planet Rock is my go-to climbing gym, with expertly set routes for every level and a clean, energetic space that pushes you to improve. The bouldering walls and training areas are always in top shape, and the rotating route selection keeps things fresh and challenging.
