Super close to Portland and the approach is easy! A lot of routes here are mixed, technically. Sport climbers often just run it out, but it's something to be aware of. If you have trad gear bring it, even if you're just planning to climb bolts.
Some of thee best classic routes you'll find anywhere. Just simply fun. There are bolted, mixed and trad routes. Great go to place when you're not sure where to climb locally. Don't come on the weekends. Crazy busy. After 5/6pm skitos swarm...
Lots of trad and sport routes that are moderate to challenging. Well protected and great community. You'll find 5.7s to 5.12s. Beautifully shaded at the base and gorgeous views at the peak.
Arguably the best crag in the area for lead climbing. Great mix of trad and sport. Check out farside to the east for good trad.
