Hands down one of the best climbing gyms I’ve ever visited. The facility is super clean, the boulders are thoughtfully set for every level, and the staff as well as the owner are welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. 10/10, a must-stop if you are in the Portland area!
I would rate Rock Haven a 5 but they could use more routes, I have been to countless gyms at this point and for the price/size there should be more routes. Rotating walls weekly is common for many gyms and space for safety is valid but compared to other gyms it can feel sparce. Everything else was great.
We absolutely love this gym. First of all, hands down the CLEANEST gym I have ever set foot in. Daryl puts hard work into making this place spotless. It’s important to me to have a well equipped workout room at my climbing gym and they have it.
I just signed up for a membership with Rock Haven and the owner Jen was so sweet and gave me the full rundown of the gym. It’s a family owned business and they do a great job of maintaining such a large space it looked new. They also have a ton of member perks and events and their seasonal pass is really affordable.
