“Their ropes are some of the best set in Boston in my experience and although their bouldering area is a bit smaller they do a good job keeping climbs rotating and interesting.”
“Another huge plus is the kids program.”
“In addition to the classes they offer (ladies night, rope for beginners) they also offer yoga classes for members for free.”

From the reviews
I have climbed at all of the gyms in the Boston area and MetroRock is my favorite! The walls are well-featured (corners, chimneys, cracks, roofs, slab, sustained, arch), textured (smear away!) and long.
Came for the climbs, stayed because my arms stopped working, and I couldn’t leave. MetroRock is the perfect mix of pain, and joy—routes are challenging in the best way, and staff members are friendly. 10/10 would fall off the wall again.
Great facilities. In addition to the classes they offer (ladies night, rope for beginners) they also offer yoga classes for members for free. There is a gym inside too.
A glorious gym. Arguably the best routesetting of the Boston metro gyms. Unpretentious and welcoming. Walls have complex angles and edges for a diverse climbing experience. Big bouldering area with new problems most weeks. Regular yoga, lgbtq, and ladies nights. Gender neutral restroom available. Slackline.
