Plan your visit

  • Day pass around $50 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
  • Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
  • Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
  • First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
  • Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
  • Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
  • Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews

Fun climbing gym for bouldering. We (a group of beginners and kids) used their auto belay to practice. We don't have our own shoes so we rented from the friendly staff.

This is my home gym. I climb here about twice a week and the community is awesome. The route setting is fun… sometimes it seems inconsistent, but I love the variety of problems. The grading seems more true to the outside than most other gyms. The staff is also super friendly and just a ton of fun to interact with.

I've been part of the wooden mountain family since they opened. Such a supportive environment full of great people to befriend. Everyone, staff and patrons alike are incredible they create the open arms wooden mountain family vibe.

I recently changed memberships from Movement to Climbing Collective as I'll be moving from Denver to Greeley with my girlfriend at the end of the month. I've since been to the other two locations. This particular gym is small, but has no lack of quality problems for the space!

Birthday parties at Loveland Climbing Collective

Loveland Climbing Collective hosts birthday parties, going by their listing and visitor reviews. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
