- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems

- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews
Nice facility with a lot to offer and incredibly friendly people. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the members are just as kind, creating a positive and enjoyable environment. There are 6 pickleball courts, massage chairs, and a wide variety of gym equipment.
Absolutely love Lifetime Fitness in Fairfax and Reston! Great place to work out and meet people of all ages. I use the elliptical, treadmill, pickleball, and the hydro massage, and everything is always clean and well run. Pickleball is super social, and the hydro massage is perfect after a workout.
Cool huge facility, pickleball courts are nice but the balls bounce off the surface a little oddly and the division of open play courts was organized in a confusing way for newcomers.
Kids classes & camps at Life Time
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Life Time — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
