Plan your visit
- Day pass around $15 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews
Visiting from out of town and just did bouldering, not top rope. The pass is cheaper and you don't have to rent a harness. The staff were awesome and there were enough bouldering routes for a good session.
A super fun family experience, very kid friendly yet challenging enough for young climbers, especially with the tread wall and a few automatic belay straps. We had the whole gym to ourselves on a Sunday night. Staff is really friendly and helpful, what a wonderful gem in town!
It's a little gym attached to a sporting good store. Bouldering routes are set about 1 grade harder than most gyms these days. Everyone was friendly and seamed like a great place to learn how to climb. Lacking routes above V4 when I was there but they do have a Moonboard.
We did the beginner lesson for two adults and one teenager. Our guide, Dan, was fun and supportive for a bunch of newbies. We enjoyed it! Will be back.
Birthday parties at Epic Climbing Gym
Epic Climbing Gym hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
