From the reviews
The gym itself is a really good modern gym with everything you'd expect from a bouldering only gym. There are a couple of things I don't like or could be different. 1. It would be nice if they chose a different board. We already have a full size Kilterboard in Eugene but no Tension boards or permanent spray wall.
Elevation is the newest addition to the Eugene area with a style more suited towards modern bouldering. They feature a greater focus on power and strength than say the technical Portland Rock Gym or the local Elevation. Yet is still a welcome addition that fills a much needed role.
This is a very nice facility, though I definitely found it to be geared towards advanced climbers. They use a 1-10 difficulty scale, and they start becoming difficult for me pretty low in that scale 😆 They do not use set screws to lock the problems in place, which seems to bother a lot of us, but they claim to use…
Great place, super friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Route Setting is really really good, and thoughtful. Good training area, and great way to end with beer on tap! The layout is much bigger than I thought even looking at their pictures. Definitely will be back again.
