“Between the regular community events and the new routes that go up 2x per week, I find myself wanting to be here whenever I have a free moment.”
“Even though there are plenty of easier climbs for beginners, they still force technique and make you think.”
“Everyone on the staff is welcoming and helpful, and I’ve made so many genuine friends since starting my membership.”
“The free weight/training area has enough equipment for me and the small coworking space is a fun touch for days when you need to be productive but also move a little.”
From the reviews
Skyhook is a solid bouldering gym and an exceptional community addition. I love this spot and after a few months of coming multiple times a week, it was an easy decision to bump up to the yearly membership.
This is exactly the bouldering gym that Portland needed. Amazingly fun boulder sets and a friendly staff. All of this coupled with 24/7 access (for members) makes this the ideal bouldering gym for those who care about bouldering. You won’t find and “make you feel good jug ladders” here.
Great vibes. I've been a member at several other larger corporate gyms where I enjoy roped climbing and big gym amenities, but I'm happy to leave it all behind for a cheaper membership and the nice community gym energy here.
Skyhook Bouldering is an absolute gem! It’s more than just a climbing gym—it’s a welcoming space where you can connect with an incredibly friendly community. Cody’s passion for climbing shines through in the thoughtful design and atmosphere he’s created.
