From the reviews
Had a nice upstairs area for the birthday party, where you could see the whole climbing area below, for the food and anyone who didn't want to climb. Lots of options for the brave and the timid climbers.
Would be great if they were open just a little bit longer. Not having access until 4:00 PM is extremely limiting. Every other gym Iʼve ever gone to opens in the mornings. With the hours being so short, the membership cost should be half of what it is relative to other gyms with longer hours.
Great gym, amazing bouldering and climbing routes. Difficult routes are plentiful
I was in Juneau off a cruise, and didn't have $700 to helicopter to a glacier, so I came to climb here instead. This gym is awesome! From the staff at the front desk to the autobelays and the challenging routes, it's clear that a lot of love and care goes into keeping this place awesome. I hope you come climb here!
Birthday parties at Rock Dump Indoor Climbing Gym
Rock Dump Indoor Climbing Gym hosts birthday parties, going by their listing and visitor reviews. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at Rock Dump Indoor Climbing Gym
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Rock Dump Indoor Climbing Gym — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
