From the reviews

Small but mighty. This is a small gym, but the quality of the setting is superb and the staff do a great job. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone visiting or living in the Rochester, MN area. Additionally, they are adding a full-size (12x12 Original) Kilter Board to the training area upstairs.

Easily the best gym I have been to. I've been to many climbing gyms, but none that came close to the number of auto belays (38!). Keep in mind that auto belays are expensive so most places only have 10-15 at most. The wall layout is really well designed and makes good use of space. Routes are fun and varied.

Great climbing gym, very glad it is here in Rochester. I used to live out west and hike and climb outdoors. My climbing gym experience is in Utah, Kansas, and Wisconsin.

We had our son’s birthday party here, and had an amazing time! Brynn did an excellent job being patient but also setting expectations for our group of excited climbers. Everyone had success climbing, and we’ll be back soon!

Birthday parties at Roca Climbing & Fitness

Roca Climbing & Fitness hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.

Kids classes & camps at Roca Climbing & Fitness

Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Roca Climbing & Fitness — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.

Adaptive climbing

Roca Climbing & Fitness is mentioned for adaptive climbing or paraclimbing — sessions, equipment, or coaching that make the walls climbable for people with disabilities. Offerings like this vary a lot gym to gym and schedules change, so call ahead to ask what's available and when the next session runs.
