From the reviews
A fantastic place to climb, especially as a beginner. They have a tonne of self/automated belaying devices, which makes it super fun and flexible, if you came on your own. The bouldering walls also have a huge variety and get changed out frequently. The height of the rock climbing walls is so awesome!
Took three kids here for the first time. Kids have experience climbing at other gyms. It was super easy to get them signed up, trained in, and on the walls within 10 minutes.
This is a really great gym! I’ve climbed at super nice & super janky gyms all over the country and world, and this one is pretty nice. High quality holds and mats and layout. The staff are competent and friendly. Also great art & murals on the wall.
My first time climbing! I’m an overweight, middle-aged, out-of-towner, and I could not have felt more comfortable or welcome. Nick harnessed the kids and me, toured us through the space, and knew exactly how to help us feel at home. I would have felt intimidated by this place but they really make it easy.
Adaptive climbing
On The Rocks Climbing Gym is mentioned for adaptive climbing or paraclimbing — sessions, equipment, or coaching that make the walls climbable for people with disabilities. Offerings like this vary a lot gym to gym and schedules change, so call ahead to ask what's available and when the next session runs.
