Plan your visit
- Day pass around $25 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
- Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- Belaying ropes gyms teach belaying or check your certification at the desk; bouldering and auto-belays need no partner and no belay test
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

“One note for veterans - this is a bouldering gym so if you’re looking for rope routes the Grapevine location is a better fit.”
“There is no top rope, no need for a harness!”

From the reviews
Summit Fort Worth is my all time favourite climbing gym. The employees are incredibly friendly and knowledgable, the problems are always a blast and are changed often enough that you always have something new to work on and the community is just so helpful and welcoming.
First time at the gym today and I was very impressed. Staff is super nice and laid back, but caring. Everything was very clean and nothing was over chalked. Met some random people and we did a little hard line contest. Great music, staff and like minded people.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, fun climbing environment. Update: I've been climbing here 2-3x a week for almost a month now, and my initial 5 star review still stands. It would be 10 if I could give it.
Great vibes. Staff is friendly and helpful, excellent range of routes for all skill levels, and patrons are generally friendly as well. Some of the regulars are happy to lend advice or just chat on the features/techniques for particular routes if asked.
