What climbers say again and again
“Occasionally there is an attraction that is broken (the Plinko style one has never functioned while we’re there) which is unfortunate, but it’s pretty well maintained and clean.”
From the reviews
Pros : This play place is massive, fun, unique and clean. The kids had a blast. Most of it is large enough for parents to go through easily and there is ample seating space for parents, even throughout the different levels.
We're Thanksgiving Point members and had been eagerly waiting for the new Jurassic Jungle to open. We did our homework and knew that we'd have to sign up in advance for free member tickets. It ended up being about a 3 week wait, which we didn't love.
We’ve been to JJ four times now, and the kids have had a great time every time! My 11 year old has memorized the spots and finishes the scans pretty quickly so she isn’t quite as interested as she was at first and gets bored after a while, but the 3 and 5 year olds could stay all day.
My 6 year old daughter and I went for the first time and had so much fun! I love that it is built with families in mind. I was able to go through the whole play area with her. There are a lot of fun animatronic dinosaurs, slides, and lots of climbing playground areas. It is all indoors.
Birthday parties at Mountain America Jurassic Jungle
Mountain America Jurassic Jungle hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
