Good little climbing spot if you don't want to hear all the way to a canyon and don't want to spend money on a gym. Mostly lower rated climbs, but there are some more difficult ones too. Can get a little busy quick since there are only a few routes
Love it. With so many great places to climb all over Utah Red Rock doesn't hold anything special. I really like it because it offers a variety of routes (from 5.7 to a 5.12 I believe), but it can be top roped and is bolted. It usually sits in the shade with benches to relax on. Wonderful views of SL Valley....
I don't have a lot of climbing experience, if fact I have never climbed. But I've taken my little girls climbing many times. They really like this place! There are about 8 different climbs about 10 feet apart with different levels of difficulty. My 6 and 8 year old had a good time on them.
Great spot for rappelling! Short hike from the parking lot, and the wall is littered with bolts. The top bolts are mostly chained, and all in good condition. The view is pretty sweet from the top.
