What's inside
“I am a member of a bouldering gym nearby but had never rope climbed with a belayer at all before so I took a class with Daniel.”
“When I'm tired, I can clip my six year old into an auto belay, lie on the floor, and watch her burn some energy.”
“The people are nice, the boulders are awesome, and there’s plenty of other equipment to elevate your climbing like hang boards, campus boards, and the kilter board.”
What climbers say again and again
“I started climbing about a month ago and the staff have been super helpful at getting me started, they’re also some great route setters, the climbing routes range from 5.”
“He answered questions, made sure everyone understood the safety procedures, and helped build confidence in those who were trying climbing for the first time.”
From the reviews
We recently brought our young men to this climbing facility as part of our Aaronic Priesthood camp, and we had a great experience from the moment we walked in. The young men who checked us in were friendly, welcoming, and took the time to talk with us.
Had my sons 11yr old birthday party here and it was amazing. We had a group of about 19 kiddos and everyone had a blast! The owner, Daniel, was great at making sure the kiddos were set up with their safety instructions and worked with them to introduce them to the center.
I am a member of a bouldering gym nearby but had never rope climbed with a belayer at all before so I took a class with Daniel. It was such truly such a great experience! In addition to being funny and easy to talk to, he was so accommodating and adjusted his beginner level instruction to my skill level.
Definitely one of the best experiences in little rock by far. Consider a visit the next time you think "theres nothing new to do in the city". Youre not dealing with people who are "just at work". You meet staff and also other climbing enthusiasts that are truly passionate about a craft...a skill... a sport....
Birthday parties at Little Rock Climbing Center
Little Rock Climbing Center hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at Little Rock Climbing Center
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Little Rock Climbing Center — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
Adaptive climbing
Little Rock Climbing Center is mentioned for adaptive climbing or paraclimbing — sessions, equipment, or coaching that make the walls climbable for people with disabilities. Offerings like this vary a lot gym to gym and schedules change, so call ahead to ask what's available and when the next session runs.
