From the reviews
Let me start by saying I love this gym and can't imagine going to any other gym in the area! With that said, it is evident that the gym is very much past its prime. I am sure at one point that this place was the place to be, but the pandemic appears to have hit them hard.
Been a member for a year and a half. Never had a bad experience. I spend most of my time in the pool, playing squash or taking the occasional spin class. The facilities are vast and never feel crowded. They have an 8 or 9 lane pool and I have never had to wait or share a lane.
Excellent facility from the staff to the equipment. Visited this gym while out of town. Paid for a day pass $35. Worked out at around 6pm on a weekday. The gym was not packed at all. The equipment was great. They gym has equipment for serious lifters.
Joined last month and couldn't be happier. LSF is clean, not too crowded, and very reasonably priced for what you get: a true old-school health club atmosphere. Birthday parties at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness
Lakeshore Sport & Fitness hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
