Huge facility with a 90-degree cave, fitness areas, and a member lounge, plus frequent route changes.
Plan your visit
- Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews
Bouldering gym only — They used a color tag system for grading, which kept me curious and trying a lot of different problems coming from a different gym. Lots of overhang walls, one slab section next to the training/weights area.
Great bouldering gym. They have a workout station, pool tables, and ping pong. Plenty of problems. Definitely get your money's worth. Hangar 18 pass holders get a discounted rate.
Large gym but also many people despite the non-peak time. They only have bouldering in the location. No belay. A few other things to do other than climbing (table tennis, board game, etc). Desk staffs are more attentive than most Hangar locations I’ve been to. Most parking spaces are next door or a few blocks away.
This is my local gym. The route setting is great IMO and there is a lot of variety. There bathrooms are clean, despite heavily trafficked. There is a good amount of warming up equipment and a little mini gym for lifting weights. The employees are nice and helpful as well. There is also a table tennis table.
