Plan your visit
- Day pass around $40 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
- Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
- Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
- First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
- Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
- Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

Out of all the gyms I toured this was my favorite, if you live in west LA county I think this is peak. The amenities are loaded, the indoor and outdoor workout spaces are nice and spread out an clean. They also have coffee in the mornings, towels, and hygiene products.
I think this is the oldest bay club in LA. And the only one with outdoor swimming pools and jacuzzis as well as outdoor yoga and weights. It’s nice to work out while overlooking the marina and ocean.
Excellent experience getting spontaneous personal training through John, even though I was just a guest. Excellent pool. Very clean and well appointed locker room. Front desk staff was not very friendly when I was getting signed in.
