From the reviews
Amazing bouldering gym! The routes seemed to favor less juggy holds with some of the best tension climbs I’ve ever done. Asana features some really unique terrain such as an arch and the biggest cave I’ve ever seen.
Love that this gym’s top priority is bouldering now. With all the additional programs and activities, the space was becoming incredibly crowded, extremely loud, and in some cases outright dangerous (climbers being hit in the head with twirling feet). Management made a tough call, but it was the right one.
Asana is so much fun! Great location and when my group of girlfriends went for a night of climbing, we wore ourselves out continuously climbing in the self belay area. So much fun! Can’t wait to go again!
Asana is the best bouldering gym! Great sets with comp style and tensiony, outdoor style climbs. I’ve been here for comps and love it. I’m sure that if I lived in Boise I would frequent it
Birthday parties at Asana Climbing Gym
Asana Climbing Gym hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at Asana Climbing Gym
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Asana Climbing Gym — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
