Climbing gyms in Houston

Houston has quietly become a real climbing town: Momentum's two Texas-sized gyms (Silver Street and Katy) anchor the scene, Climb Capuchin adds the indie bouldering energy, and inSPIRE and the Life Time walls round it out. Flat as Houston is, the walls are the only elevation for 200 miles — and air conditioning makes the gym the obvious summer answer. Big party rooms make these birthday favorites too.

What local climbers say

Exceptional bouldering gym! With one major drawback...no top rope/lead/auto belay. Found this gym to be really well organized, clean and friendly. Parking was super easy and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Route setting seemed to be somewhat soft and then there was a big jump from V6 to V7.

This was my first time in a Lifetime in many years but it was a great experience. Plenty of equipment and the gym was very clean and spacious

I like this lifetime in city centre. Staff is friendly and the gym is relatively clean. They have awesome yoga classes with great instructors. Workout area has a great view since it’s on the second floor. I like that it’s not too crowded all the time.
