From the reviews

Great rec center for both students and the community. I used to be on the advisory board, and I can say that giving access to the community is just as important to them as ensuring more students use the facility.

The UMSL Recreation and Wellness Center is my favorite sanctuary on campus. I’m especially drawn to the swimming pool—there’s something almost sacred about being in the water. It’s where I feel most at peace, most connected to the universe.

Not only the best place to work out and hang out on campus but also the best place to work! Amazing atmosphere, clean facility, state-of-the-art equipment and lots of fun things to do. Keep in mind that there is a different schedule for the pool and there might be a different schedule for some times around holidays!

★★★★★ — Radek, Jun 2019

Large and clean three levels for working out, almost every machine you can think of. There are free weights, a walking/jogging track, a pool, locker rooms, and a climbing wall. Plus athletic courts for basketball or volleyball. It's really nice.
