From the reviews
Consistently ranked one of the best rec centers in the country and deservedly so. Spacious, very clean, lots of free weights and machines, jacuzzi and lap pool, running tracks, six basketball courts, deadlift area, squat racks, climbing wall, showers, racketball courts, group fitness sessions, personal trainers— it’s…
(Writing this as a community member, not a student) For the price, it is a great gym and access to the pool is huge. The rock wall is so-so, but the weight floor is massive. I run into a LOT of students there at the time that I go, but there is still room on the racks most of the time.
Stopped in to watch our son play in an NDBA Dodgeball Tournament. $12 for a day pass that didn't go to the teams was kinda baloney since we were spectators and not using the facility. It was pretty busy and not much direction on how things worked, if I was there to participate in something like badminton.
Probably one of the best gyms in town. As you would expect, it is filled with students that disproportionately skew young and fit. But if you can overcome those vibes and any insecurity you might feel because of it, you'll get a great workout in. Staff is always kind and respectful.
