What's inside
“The new flooring pads are also noticeably firmer than those at The Boulder Field, so climbers who are used to the softer mats there may need a little time to adjust.”
“One of my favorite additions is the adjustable Kilter Board, which is something not available at The Boulder Field.”
What climbers say again and again
“First of all, the facility is clean, spacious, bright, and well-ventilated.”
“The cafe with coffee and beer is such a great bonus!”
“I saw many familiar faces from The Boulder Field, and they were just as welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic as always.”
From the reviews
Highly recommended! I had the chance to visit the newly opened Davis location this week, and I really enjoyed the experience. First of all, the facility is clean, spacious, bright, and well-ventilated. Everything feels fresh and comfortable, with no unpleasant odors that you sometimes find in climbing gyms.
I usually climb at the Sacramento Boulder Field location, but this new gym is fantastic. The route setting is excellent and the overall Stack/BF style has helped me see a noticeable improvement in my climbing compared to other area gyms.
Definitely a fun challenging indoor rock climbing establishment. The facility is super clean. The staff is very welcoming. We live appropriately 30 mins without traffic south of the stack and it's worth the drive for me and my family. And they a coffee bar and matcha.
Love it here. Great staff and super welcoming! Also amazing setting! Probably the most fun routes I’ve climbed in a long time.
Birthday parties at The Stack Climbing + Fitness
The Stack Climbing + Fitness hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at The Stack Climbing + Fitness
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at The Stack Climbing + Fitness — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
