From the reviews
Visited while on travel, and this gym is officially tied in first place for the most fun climbing gym I've ever been to. Every route, regardless of whether or not I knew I was going to flash it, was an absolute blast. The walls and holds were suitably clean (the fastest way to lose stars in a review!
I've been climbing here for 6 years as of 2017, and it never gets old. The routes change regularly, and the setters always show great creativity. I also love the height of the bouldering walls. Good selection of workout equipment as well.
This is an amazing place to come and boulder. The place is huge and complete with nice restroom facilities and a place to store your gear. And then the walls - they have everything from lower walls, to a cave, and a massive wall that is downright scary to drop from.
THE place for indoor bouldering in Boulder. Super friendly staff, lots of interesting climbers for company, and all the gym equipment you could ask for.
Birthday parties at The Spot Bouldering Gym
The Spot Bouldering Gym hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at The Spot Bouldering Gym
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at The Spot Bouldering Gym — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
