What climbers say again and again
“I was immediately impressed by how nice and clean the building was, and all the attractions felt modern and up to date.”
From the reviews
I came in from up north, I actually work at the Syracuse location (a definite recomend as well). I was immediately impressed by how nice and clean the building was, and all the attractions felt modern and up to date. The Go Karts were the best part, as always, and I love the theme.
It was our first time at Rush and won’t be our last! For the price - you get access to the bowling, mini golf, go karts, bumper cars, rock climbing and the zip line/foam pit which makes it worth it! You can repeat the activities as many times within the hour slot you pay for too which is awesome and extra worth it!
We stopped at The Rush Funplex to let the kids burn off energy before getting back on the road, and it ended up being one of those stops that worked out even better than expected. We went on a Monday around 1 pm, and for a while it felt like we almost had the place to ourselves. That made a huge difference.
Both kids and parents had a blast. The facility was very well maintained and extremely clean. The only frustrating part was the number of arcade games that were out of order or occasionally took our points. The staff was great about adding the points back, but it was inconvenient having to ask each time.
Birthday parties at The Rush Funplex
The Rush Funplex hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.
Kids classes & camps at The Rush Funplex
Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at The Rush Funplex — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
