The owner truly puts his heart and mind into this gym, and more then deserves our business. In all of my traveling it is the most passion I have seen put into the kids classes. Dana has wonderful games to keep the kids having fun all while teaching them not only to climb but safety, theory, technique and terminology.
I’ve been climbing inside and outside for a few years, and have been to climbing gyms throughout the Cleveland/Buffalo/Pittsburgh area. I’m accustomed to gyms being pretty nice, with solid routes and good atmospheres. Goat Fort is the only gym I’ve been to where every route feels special.
The Goat Fort is a great way to get out and stay active, especially with the weather turning cold in Warren. The owner is very passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to bouldering and rock climbing. They offer league climbing for adults and climbing classes for kids. Go check it out!
Excellent facility to hone your bouldering skills in a safe, friendly, well lit and maintained environment. It's much larger than I anticipated, with an area upstairs for lounging, snacking, and rehydration! They offer day passes and membership rates. Chalk bags and climbing shoes are available to rent as well.
