From the reviews
The State College YMCA is Phenomenal. The Gym has all the equipment you could need, If your a parent you can take advantage of the FREE Child Watch. You're not going to find that anywhere else in State College. The Staff are all great and very helpful.
The front desk staff are VERY friendly and VERY helpful. We just signed up a couple months ago, and we have had a wonderful experience, both from the pool staff and the front desk staff. A tour was given our first day there, and all our questions were answered. My young granddaughter just started swimming lessons.
This location has an excellent variety in terms of equipment and rooms. I think anyone with common sense would be able to do whatever workout they want with plenty of options to switch things up. What really stands out here is the staff though. Very friendly and they went the extra mile for me when they didn't have to.
Very nice YMCA with plenty of machines, free weights, and cardio equipment. More well equipped than most.
