  • Gear rental nearly every climbing gym rents shoes (~$5–8 typical) and chalk; harness rental is often bundled with a ropes pass
  • Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
  • First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems
  • Kids programs classes, camps, or youth teams mentioned — check the current schedule
  • Yoga & fitness mentioned alongside the climbing — ask about the class schedule and what a pass includes
  • Memberships available — worth asking about if you'd climb more than a few times a month

From the reviews

Nice wall. Still new, well maintained. Few things: 1) Small. Not a lot of room, was not very crowded when I was there, but definitely can get packed. 2) No moon/kilter board 3) Pricey for what you get - 30 something dollars for a day pass 4) So much face - most of the wall is face/slab, which means that around v6-v7…

Nice smaller bouldering gym. They have a 60° Kilter board, weight lifting area and a yoga room. They have enough climbs for every grade and there is a new set almost every week. Furthermore, they have fun events and a really kind crew.

Looks like I get to be the first post-opening review! -The new pieces feel great in the hand. -Routes are interesting and offer a wide variety of challenges beyond just "higher grade = smaller holds and longer reaches". -Mats cover the whole climbing area and absorb impact well.

★★★★★ — Wes, Mar 2024

Came through on a Sunday. Can't believe this was a theater I went to as an undergrad. Love the wide open layout with the Lion King sized monolith in the middle. Only half the routes are currently up and they were super fun. All the holds are new and tacky.
