From the reviews

I have been climbing for just under two months now and I absolutely love it. My friends dragged me to progression but I was hooked immediately. The gym environment is so incredibly supportive, even when I was struggling with the easier climbs in the gym, experienced climbers were offering advice and shouting…

It’s a small but very fun gym. The routesetters actually know what they’re doing and set a variety of different route styles unlike other gyms you might find in the area. The employees are really friendly and the day passes are very affordable too.

Great place! Challenging and progressive climbs! Awesome climbing focused weight room with crimps, bands, balance board, hang boards, etc. Great deal for the day pass. 13 student pass or $15 adult pass, $5 for shoes.

Y’all need to check out Progression climbing. It’s a brand new bouldering gym located in Chapel Hill, NC. They have a state of the art padding system that covers underneath every wall. No need to slide around crash pads as your working problems. There’s a ton of problems ranging from V nothing to V impossible.

Birthday parties at Progression Climbing

Progression Climbing hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Climbing parties come with staff who handle the harnesses and belaying, so parents can mostly watch. One thing that's different here: every guest needs a signed waiver — send the gym's waiver link to the other parents when you send invites, or check-in day gets slow. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular gyms.

Kids classes & camps at Progression Climbing

Reviews and the gym's own info mention kids programs at Progression Climbing — climbing classes, school-break camps, or a youth team where kids learn technique from coaches instead of just scrambling around. Program schedules and age groups change each season, so check the current lineup before you plan around one.
