Relaxed bouldering gym featuring an outdoor patio and spacious study area.

Plan your visit

  • Day pass around $10 — check current rates; most gyms price gear rental separately and discount off-peak
  • Gear rental available — the gym mentions rentals; shoes typically run ~$5–8 and a harness is often bundled with a ropes pass
  • Waiver always required at climbing gyms — sign it online before you go to skip the front-desk line
  • First timer? bouldering needs zero experience — rent shoes and walk in; staff will point you at the easiest problems

From the reviews

Fantastic; loads of engaging and inspiring boulders. Masterclass in stacking holds and blockers. Only $10 first time day pass. Love it

Conveniently located for Cal students, otherwise parking here is difficult. The gym is small but the routesetting is dense to maximize the number of routes. Everything seems to cater more towards beginner/intermediate climbers with only a few climbs in the upper rating.

Awesome local climbing gym at Berkeley. The atmosphere is great and the employees are super chill. Great route setting and cool holds. There's also a nice upstairs area with some free weights, bands, pull up bars, and hang boards where you can also sit and study. Also a deck to hang out on in the back.

A fairly small modern urban-type bouldering gym mostly trafficked by students it seems. Staff and people climbing were all really nice, and despite being a small space, I felt that the routesetting was pretty good/fun, and they have a variety of wall from slab to overhung.
